Another Brick (called AnotherBrick prior to version 3.0) is an Advanced map in Bloons TD 6. It features brick walls that obstruct the horizontal middle and vertical left side of the map. This map's name is a reference to the 1979 Pink Floyd song "Another Brick in the Wall", which is also referenced by In the Wall in Bloons TD Battles 2.

Layout

edit

Bloons start at the top of the map, travel around the edge of the wall, and exit at the bottom. The wall blocks create significant line-of-sight problems, intruding through the middle of the map almost entirely. There are two flooded potholes that water towers can be placed in. Additionally, towers can be placed to the left of the brick wall, and removing the 2 brick piles there for $1,000 each clears up all the space there. Some pigeons are perched on the wall, and tapping one will cause it to fly away, then return after a few seconds.

Strategy

edit

Despite its intrusive walls, Another Brick's bends and relatively long single-lane track makes it one of the easiest Advanced maps. The walls can be countered with towers that see over them, such as Aircraft Carrier and Wizard Monkeys with Guided Magic. Many strategies work on this map, and optimal towers are listed below.

Name Portrait Reasoning
Carrier Flagship   Flagship sees through the wall and takes advantage of the entire map length. With the 5-2-0 cross-path, which is more powerful on this map, the mid-game is also simple thanks to Destroyer and Aircraft Carrier's power. Flagship sweeps through the early late-game, while retaining solid strength into the 90s. When using a water-reliant strategy such as Destroyers with Permanent Brew, Flagship's ~17% buff to water towers stand out. Pair it with Admiral Brickell for her Naval Tactics and Mega Mines abilities, both being pivotal to assuring victory.
Perma-Spike   Perma-Spike can take large amounts of Bloons and low-level blimps with ease, effectively guaranteeing victory. For the best results, put it near the exit, and pair it with Jungle Drums, a 3-0-1 Berserker Brew. When Perma-Spike is used, inconsistent but very high-damage towers, such as Orca, become powerful options.
Prince of Darkness   Prince of Darkness can accumulate graveyard over walls, even without the 1-0-5 crosspath. As a beginner-friendly option, it does very well against DDT rounds and cleans up leaking Bloons well. Ezili works great with PoD thanks to her MOAB Hex ability deleting RBE and 50% buff to its Zombie Bloons' pierce, and with good use of Corvus's spells, he is also powerful in conjunction with PoD thanks to his ability to defeat large clumps of Bloons/blimps.
