Nested Yellow is a Basic Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm. It summons a Nested Green if it is destroyed, which does not inherit any modified properties of its parent (e.g. its delay or being On Fire). Leaking a Nested Yellow will not decrease delay of its summoned Bloon.
- Nested Yellows have 10 less health than normal Yellow Bloon, only 1 charge, 2 delay, and cost 1 more Gold. It has below average overall health per gold for its 11 total turns to leak, though if the opponent pops it early, it reduces its total delay.
- At 290 total health, this card has more than twice as much health as a normal yellow, but 60 less than a Damaged MOAB.
- This card has 4 total Bloons per card, one more than Swarm Yellow Bloon's 3 Bloons and equal to Blooming Bloon if it leaks.
- Nested Yellows are an extremely low threat, even if it provides continuous pressure to the opponent with its 4 total Bloons.
- Nested Yellow can be easily defended with just 60 damage per turn monkeys, like 3 charges of Barrel Of Monkeys or high burst monkeys like Tack Sprayer.
- For strategies that want multiple Bloons to spawn, using Zombie Bloons is generally more recommended due to their higher threat and lower delay.
Health increased ― 130 → 140
Effect is now triggered On Destroyed instead of On Popped, allowing it to summon if it hits the opposing Hero
Description changed ― "On Popped: Spawns a Nested Green" → "On Destroyed: Summons a Nested Green"
Health reduced ― 140 → 120
Delay increased ― 1 → 2
Gold cost increased ― 3 → 4
Bloontonium gain increased ― 3 → 4
If the board is full, Bloons that summon other Bloons will now allow at least one offspring to summon if that parent disappears (bug fix)
Bloons summoned at the end of a turn no longer decrement their delay on the same turn (undocumented)
