Joshua and Margaret Investigations

Joshua and Margaret Investigations is an event in Bloons Adventure Time TD. During the event, the player can play on "challenge maps" to earn prizes by collecting Clues. Collecting 35 Clues unlocks a Legendary wish orb.

Challenge maps

The player progresses the event by playing random challenge maps and earning Clues. Any map except Candy Graveyard, Cursed Mirrors, Fire Trap, Heirophant's Forest, or Infinity can appear in the event, even maps exclusive to premium Adventures. Instead of using their default difficulty modifiers, challenge maps use the difficulty modifiers of one of the following maps at random:

After completing a challenge map, the next map becomes available after four hours. The player can spend gems to speed it up, at a rate of  1 per 4.8 minutes.

Clues

The number of Clues the player earns from completing a challenge map depends on the difficulty. It takes a total of 35 Clues to unlock all prizes.

Character resources

Unlike themed events (such as Hall-ooo-ween and Holly Jolly Secrets), the chest for a given difficulty in any given Investigations event will always drop the same character resource until the event is over. This makes target farming resources for a specific character through Impoppable Investigations in a short period of time much more effective than other methods, but this cannot be predicted before an event begins.

Normal and Hard Investigations always give the same resource, while Extreme and Impoppable typically give different resources each event.
