Be careful when defending against Stun Gas Bloon, as any Monkey that attacks it will be stunned for 1 turn, guaranteeing that it cannot attack or reload at all on the next turn. Powers and Heroes are preferred for handling them, however high damage monkeys like Sniper Monkey deal with Stun Gas Bloon the best if you must attack them with a Monkey.
Heroes cannot be stunned by damaging it. Quincy is by far the more reliable choice for popping Stun Gas Bloons, alongside Adora with her passive activated.
Stun Gas Bloon can take advantage of Monkeys with multiple ammo, especially those who attack multiple targets. Glaive Ricochet in particular is affected by Stun Gas Bloon’s stun effect worse than any other Monkey, due to the bounces triggering the stun.
Defenders are a good target for Stun Gas Bloon, as if they leak only one ammo will be used before they are stunned. As most defenders have multiple ammo, stunning Defenders is valuable.
Mortars have no control over hitting a target, so Stun Gas Bloon is a good counter to them, especially The Big One.
Stun as an effect does not prevent card abilities from activating, meaning that passive attacks from a Monkey such as Blade Maelstrom or passive abilities like Jungle’s Bounty Druid will still activate.
