Bolstered Bloon is an Advanced Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm. It starts with 75 Shield when it is played and it gains 25 health each time the player plays a Bloon. Bloons summoned by the Storm do not trigger this effect. It counts Bloons summoned by the player (e.g. popping or leaking friendly summoning Bloons, popping friendly summoning Bloons during player's turn, and Red Bloon Storm), but not Bloons summoned by the opponent (e.g. opponent's Red Bloon Apopalypse, popping summoning Bloons during opponent's turn).

- Due to its slower speed and scaling method, Bolstered Bloon generally requires more setup than other options. Bolstered Bloon can be a threat when combined with many Bloons. Spamming multiple cheap Bloons is an easy way to accumulate extra health for the Bolstered Bloon.
- It is best to wait to have other bloons in your hand when playing Bolstered Bloon to ensure that it isn't instantly popped after it is played.
- Bolstered Bloon is best used in Aggro decks, many of which include lots of cards with cheap, spammable bloons. Generally, the best moment to start Bolstered Bloon is fairly early on, following up with as many cheap-costing Bloons as possible.
- Having at least two other Bloons will ensure that double Storm Of Arrows won't guarantee hitting the Bolstered Bloon twice.
- Keep in mind that countering a Bolstered Bloon in the early-game is not very difficult for the opponent but can waste resources. Hero Protection or Return to Sender can counteract the damage from a highly boosted Bolstered Bloon.
- Bolstered Bloon’s fairly large amount of base shield makes it more solid at surviving field clear cards like Firestorm or Spike Storm!.
- Versus an Aggro mirror, Bolstered Bloon is slower than other options but can be useful if you can hold out until it hits due to it being able to deal a huge amount of damage while being more tanky in comparison to something like Blooming Bloon.
- Aggro decks that run Return To Sender to counter ARBITR have an advantage versus Bolstered Bloon.
- Running Zombie Bloons can help Bolstered grow quickly with repeated triggers. Run them over Nested Bloons as they provide more value.
- Emboldened Bloon can be a solid Bloon to include alongside Bolstered Bloon as both benefit from filling up the board with swarms of cheap Bloons.
- Fright Night helps alleviate the higher delay of Bolstered Bloon by preventing the opponent from playing more expensive cards such as Super Monkey or Bloon Master Alchemist.

Development
editDuring the Version 6.2 playtests, Ninja Kiwi buffed Bolstered Bloon on the basis that it can survive better early on.[1][2]
