The Cabin is a Beginner map in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 28.0. It takes place on a haunted cabin near a pond and in the woods.
This map may be a reference to the Friday the 13th film franchise due to the cabin by a lake, and the easter egg of a monkey wearing a hockey mask.
Layout
editBloons enter from the top-left, meander at the top, make 3 turns, and exit at the bottom-left. The trees, car, and cabin all block line-of-sight, with the trees in particular limiting the placeable space on this map. The car can be removed for $500. The pond in the upper-middle is divided by a bridge, and supports water strategies with its wide coverage. The Cabin is the 4th shortest Beginner map, only longer than End Of The Road, Monkey Meadow, and Town Center.
Strategy
editThe Cabin is widely considered to be the most difficult Beginner map, thanks to its short & spread-out track, limited placeable space, and line-of-sight blockers. Due to the spread-out nature of this map's track, global-range towers pull ahead. Water-based strategies also work relatively well here, due to the pond's widespread coverage. With these tips in mind, The Cabin can generally be beaten using general guidelines that are found here.

Flagship is unimpeded by the spread-out nature of The Cabin's track, and is powerful throughout the course of the game. With the 5-2-0 cross-path, which performs better on this map, Destroyer and Aircraft Carrier, its preceding upgrades, can comfortably save up to Flagship. Its ~17% buff to water towers also stand out due to their improved power on this map, with strategies such as Destroyer with Permanent Brew. |
Easter eggs

Interacting with certain background objects triggers animations and sound effects. Interacting with them in a specific order, then removing the car, triggers a special animation where a monkey wearing a hockey mask pops out of the cabin and chases after the car.
