Monkeyopolis

Yes, you could always have put the camo potion on Monkeyopolis, but not the Monkey City, even after 32.0 nerfed camo potion targets, because Monkeyopolis makes "attacks" quote-on-quote. Qwertyxp2000 (talk) 04:42, 20 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

So, what I'm getting is that this change isn't actually a change and Mackan just was wrong I guess, if that's the case the changes could be reverted. But before I do any change think I should download an older version via steam and test it with a new account if nobody else can confirm before then. I need to see evidence as our monkeyopolis article excludes monkeyopolis but there's no explicit record of the change in the change list we have now. Good idea to use a 32.0 account to test out the Camo Potion + Monkeyopolis interaction. I only knew about this particular Monkeyopolis interaction due to having previously made a screenshot of a Camo Potion highlighting on a Monkeyopolis and uploading that screenshot elsewhere. I'm pretty sure I can't go back to v32 due internet requirement which was lifted until version 34ish iirc, and with mods I could go as far as v39, let me see what can I try. Drgoku282 (talk) 05:19, 20 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
I believe that mackan was correct, but forgot. The Monkey City was the issue here, because increasing it's range would increase the amount of farms in range when upgrading, and that's what NK wanted to cut down on. Can you test the Monkey City instead? Planterror (talk) 12:42, 20 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Use of en dashes

I noticed that you use en dashes (−) to notate negative numbers instead of a minus sign (-). En dashes should only be used in numbers to notate ranges of values, while minus signs should be used for negative numbers. If you're using the source editor and want to insert a minus sign as the first character of a table cell, just put a space between the pipe and the dash (| -) instead of (|-). Noted, no problem. Drgoku282 (talk) 15:47, 5 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

"Cannot longer" is not grammatically correct

Not to be rude (I know English isn't your first language). https://linguix.com/english/common-mistake/not_longer

Example of how I would change it: "Cannot longer detect camo" -> "Can no longer detect camo"

("No longer detects camo" also works, though in English, this phrasing tends to mean the change is because of the subject itself, while the former implies that the change is due to external factors, which makes more sense for a game update imo) Polavux (talk) 09:11, 10 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
