Princess Bubblegum is primarily an ability DPS character with some support capabilities. Her best build thus focuses on this, but she can also be used as a budget alternative to Tuxedo Jake when starting out, as getting the trinkets for specializing in her damaging ability is difficult.

At star level 5, she can also be used for supplemental income solely through Royal Decree.

Builds

The topmost trinkets for recommended loadouts should be prioritized. While builds do become more effective the more levels the player has, generally each consecutive level has diminishing returns as weaker trinkets are used for remaining slots.

Jellybeans (ability) build

Her initial activated ability, Jellybeans Have Power, deals a respectable amount of damage from a global range. The downside is that it requires lots of attack speed trinkets and level 7's Soda and Mints upgrade to make it really shine. Because of this, fitting her in an endgame Martian Games team that doesn't restrict characters or allies often does not justify her slot.

Jellybeans/Soda and Mints scale off Attack Speed buffs and Bonus Damage, so this build will primarily cram in as many MOAB-damage and Attack Speed bonuses as possible, with Baby Tooth to maximize uptime. Missile can be included if upgrading her further because of her slew of high attack speed trinkets, if game performance is not a concern.

Support build

Largely the same as Tuxedo Jake's build. Gemma the Gemstone is used only if Warrior Bubblegum isn't used and Hunter Marceline is in the team, otherwise there is no real difference in trinkets.

As this is primarily a budget loadout, expensive trinkets such as Martian Tracking Device should not be prioritized as a purchase until more important things are purchased, such as Tuxedo Jake himself. If running multiple Googoomamameter users, spread them out for full map coverage.

Big Hearted Hero sale-skip build

A niche, endgame farming build used to capitalize on the power of Finn's round skip glitch. While PB is normally unnecessary, using PB for losing lives from selling her after buying Royal Promise and Big Hearted Hero lets the player keep special gifts in seasonal Collection Events, such as Hall-ooo-ween, and easily set up a gem farming setup in Deflation Martian Games while skipping 25+ rounds of low gem yield.

For event farming, the player must farm income before going all in on the skip. The usual suspects such as eco C4 Charlie or COBRA, put PB and Finn out of range, then afford the required upgrades for the glitch without leaking. After affording all upgrades, sell PB, perform the glitch as usual, and the gift should be awarded at the end.

For deflation farming, set up a regular gem farming setup, set up the PB and Finn skip setup and sell PB with Royal Promise 3 times, set up PB with royal promise again, then sell PB when the wave is almost done.

The loadout simply makes PB as cheap as possible so either the skip can be done as soon as possible for event farming, or the player saves as much cash as possible for their setup.
