Rang Bloon functions almost identically to Bomb Bloon but grants a Boomerang Monkey. Compared to Bomb Shooter, Boomerang Monkey lacks utility and initial burst of damage, plus poor single-target damage. Boomerang's poor stats generally make Bomb Bloon a better option.
Although the stats of the Bloon itself aren't horrible, building defenses from only Boomerang Monkeys is not recommended. Early on, 1-delay aggro and early Large Bloons can overrun the player before creating a full Boomerang setup, along with Boomerang’s poor single target damage making it weak to Bloons such as Blooming Bloon.
