Monkey Meadow is a Beginner map in Bloons TD 6. It takes place in a grassy field surrounded by trees and is the first map in the map menu.

Layout

As the first map to appear on the menu, Monkey Meadow is a generic map. It features a grass field with bushes that block line-of-sight slightly at all corners except the bottom-left. Bloons enter from the left and exit at the bottom. The track is laid with rock, and encloses 2 patches of grass, one near the top and one near the bottom-left.

Strategy

Being a generic Beginner map, Monkey Meadow features a wide variety of working strategies. In general, the center of the map (immediately below the top enclosed space) is the best spot to place towers, as they gain the most widespread coverage there. Monkey Meadow can be beaten relatively easily using general guidelines listed below.

Due to the center of the map granting wide coverage, certain towers excel on Monkey Meadow.

Name Portrait Reasoning
Glaive Lord   When placed in the middle, Glaive Lord's spinning rangs do solid damage and cleans up large clumps of MOABs and ceramics. Its wide coverage of the map there allows it to constantly throw ricocheting rangs as well, which repeatedly bounce around the map and deal solid overall damage.
Dragon's Breath   Dragon's Breath is a very solid mid-game tower that functions well here due to the intersections and large coverage it obtains in the middle. With another tower or a Hero that covers the optimal 0-3-2 crosspath's Purple weakness, it can save up large amounts of cash for a win condition, such as Glaive Lord.
Velociraptor   Velociraptor likewise gains solid coverage when placed in the middle, At Power 24 and given Camo detection, it coasts through the mid-game and saves up very large amounts of money to allow the purchase of many win conditions.
