Zee Jay is a monkey character that first appeared in Bloons Card Storm. He is a casual monkey who rides on a hoverboard.
Gameplay
[edit | edit source]Zee Jay is a Hero in Bloons Card Storm who specializes in buffing the health of Bloons, boosting the attack power of Monkeys, and summoning a special Rad Bloon. The player sustains his unique abilities by obtaining and redeeming Rad Tokens.
Other appearances
[edit | edit source]While not appearing directly in Bloons TD 6, a background detail on the map Tricky Tracks features Monklish graffiti translating to "ZJ WAS HERE" between two Rad Bloons.
General information

[edit | edit source]Zee Jay has gray fur, light tan skin, and heterochromia iridium, with his left eye being light green and his right being light purple. He wears a spiked white hood with a yellow interior, red headphones with a green banana-shaped emblem on the sides, a white short-sleeve T-shirt with red sleeves and depicting his initials (Z.J.), blue jeans, and green sneakers. He has various purple and yellow paint splatters on his jeans, shoes, cheeks, tail and hood.
Personality and traits
[edit | edit source]Zee Jay is a relaxed, casual monkey who has a stereotypical surfer accent and uses a lot of terminology popular among Gen Z, most prominently variants of "dude" and "radical". He heavily enjoys hoverboarding, fashion and the arts.
Lore
[edit | edit source]- Out of all Heroes, he's the most into fashion.[2]
- Zee Jay's Rad Bloons have been implied to not actually be spawned by him, rather floating on by and joining the battle when he says the world "radical" frequently.[3]
- Zee Jay met DJ Benjammin' at Electric Pop Festival, describing the encounter as "totally radical, monkey dude".[4]
- His Rad Bloons randomly being summoned has been a problem, frequently scaring nearby monkeys.[5]
