The Monkey Engineer is a tower in Bloons Monkey City. It is available to unlock after the player reaches City Level 5 in Flash version of Bloons Monkey City, or capturing a Engineer Rescue tile in the multiplatform version of Bloons Monkey City. In the Flash version, it was released on the same update as the release of Bloon Dunes.
The Monkey Engineer has upgrades that allow it to build sentries and traps, dispense foam, or boost other towers. The base Engineer Monkey operates a nail gun that shoots nails, each popping up to three Bloons, but cannot pop Lead Bloons or frozen Bloons. The Engineer cannot detect Camo but has upgrades that let it strip Camo properties.

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- The Monkey Engineer in the Flash version of BMC is based on an older version of its Bloons TD 5 Deluxe counterpart, and therefore has not been updated to balance change the Engineer. As such, it still has things such as the higher cost 9-Inch Nails, infinite pierce Cleansing Foam, and a lack of ability sound for Overclock.
- Engineer Monkey is the only tower released to an update of the Flash version of BMC. Internally, code suggesting the Heli Pilot and Bloonchipper are present but neither were released in the game.
