Alpine run is above-average in terms of difficulty compared to other Beginner maps, due to its dispersed track layout. Alpine Run is a Beginner map in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 7.0. It takes place on a ski slope with a ski lift splitting the map vertically down the middle.

Layout

[edit | edit source]

Bloons start at the top of the left side and exit from the bottom right corner. The track begins with four sharp turns on the way towards the middle lane, which leads to three more sharp turns before the exit. There are no line-of-sight blockers, despite the ski lift supporters rising high above the ground.

Strategy

[edit | edit source]

Alpine run is above-average in terms of difficulty compared to other Beginner maps, due to its dispersed track layout. High-pierce towers that take good advantage of straight lines shine here, due to the abundance of straight lines. Towers are generally placed around the center of the middle lane. With the use of these tips, Alpine Run can be beaten using general strategies listed here.

Listed below are towers that take advantage of Alpine Run's map layout.

Name Portrait Reasoning & how to use
MOAB Domination When given Stronger Stimulant and Primary Training, MOAB Domination's press attack reaches practically the entire map if placed between the center and the last bend, dealing massive damage to all blimps in sight. There, the Kylie boomerang attack use the straight lines and provides solid cleanup.
Bloon Exclusion Zone When placed near the exit, BEZ's buckshot balls use the straight lines and overcome the spaced-out track layout. When given Camo detection, Stronger Stimulant, and Lead popping power, the 2-0-5 BEZ breezes through the late-game.
