Golden Bloon

Golden Bloons are a recurring type of Bloon that first appeared in the iOS version of Bloons. They are characterized by being rare or limited, usually being harmless but difficult to pop, and often dropping helpful items or resources when damaged and/or popped.
In the Bloons TD series, non-Golden Bloons can be converted to gold through other means, though these are unrelated to Golden Bloons.
Gameplay
- In the iOS version of Bloons, Golden Bloons appear in a minigame of the same name. They appear every few seconds, but vanish if not popped after 2 seconds. They award 101 points when popped, but always break combos.
- In Bloons Supermonkey 2, One Golden Bloon appears in each level. When hit, it starts flying around the screen erratically. If Super Monkey manages to pop it before it escapes, it drops an Ally powerup.
- In the mobile version of Bloons TD 5, Golden Bloons are exclusive to an event. They have the properties of Lead Bloons, Camo Bloons, and Ceramic Bloons. They travel in reverse on the path and drop Monkey Money when hit, and drop a free Special Agent when popped.
- In Bloons TD 6, Golden Bloons are exclusive to an event. They appear multiple times per game and become stronger as the rounds progress. They give extra Monkey Money each time they are popped.
- In Bloons Pop!, Golden Bloons appear exclusively in Golden Bloon Time. Each Golden Bloon gives 1 Monkey Money when popped.
- In Bloons Card Storm, the Golden Bloon is an Advanced Bloon card that gives the user one Gold each time it takes damage.
