For Camo Bloons in general, see Camo Bloon.
Camo Bloon
Applies to All regular Bloons, DDTs, Golden Bloons, Phayze

Camo Bloons are a type of Bloon property in Bloons TD 6. Bloons with the Camo property have visible camouflage patterns, and cannot be targeted by most towers. All bloons up to Ceramic Bloon can have this property, as will several other Bloon types; DDTs, Tier 2 and 4+ Golden Bloons, and Phayze spawn with the Camo property by default. In standard gameplay, Camo Bloons first appear on Round 24, or Round 5 of Alternate Bloons Rounds.

Towers will ignore camo bloons unless they have camo detection. Additionally, projectiles will phase through and deal no damage to camo bloons if the main tower does not have detection. Camo status can be removed by attacks that strip Camo, such as Counter-Espionage, Cleansing Foam, and Submerge and Support. Certain upgrades, such as Night Vision Goggles, deal extra damage to Camo Bloons.

  • In standard gameplay, Camos start to become threatening starting from round 36, then a bigger leap on round 42.
  • Some innate camo detectors have Camo Prioritization; set them to this targeting to focus on Camos.
  • Cheap reliable camo detectors include x-1-x Night Vision Goggles and x-2-x Shrapnel Shot, 0-1-0 Eagle Eye, and a base Ninja Monkey.
  • 0-0-0 Spike Factory carries all Camos on standard gameplay up to round 37 inclusive on a single lane.
  • Radar Scanner or level 8+ Etienne have full uptime Camo detection, except versus Phayze. Having them ready before round 42 in standard gameplay is recommended.
  • Compared to direct camo detection, decamos may suffer from downtime. Some reliable decamos include a 0-2-3 Signal Flare, or Bloontonium Reactor.

IMPORTANT! Camo Bloons can't be affected by your Monkeys unless they have a way to detect them. For example Quincy can at level 5 and Dart Monkeys can with the Enhanced Eyesight upgrade.
Tutorial
More Camo Bloons on the way - you must prepare your defenses! There are lots of ways to pop Camo Bloons, try these upgrades: Dart Monkeys - Enhanced Eyesight or Sniper Monkey - Nightvision Goggles. Look for others with Camo Bloons in the upgrade icons.
