Critical shot (referred as Crit shot,[1] Crit,[2] or crit[3] in some descriptions) is a game mechanic in Bloons TD 6 and Bloons TD Battles 2 that allows a shot to deal significantly more damage and trigger orange text ("CRIT" in Bloons TD 6, "CRIT!" in Battles 2) above the damaged Bloon. The text briefly fades in and moves vertically before fading out.
In Bloons TD 6, the visuals from critical hits will not be rendered if the Effects Scale is set to less than 100%.
