Sharp Shooter is the Dart Monkey's path 3 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. With this upgrade, every 10th projectile shot by the Dart Monkey becomes a crit shot that deals 50 damage instead of the normal amount. Additionally, this upgrade increases its non-crit damage from 3 to 6, and increases its attack speed by +100% from every 0.95s to every 0.475s. It also increases its projectile speed by 33%, but reduces its projectile lifespan, so the maximum travel distance of its projectiles remains about the same.
With, Sharp Shots, shots gain +3 pierce, plus another +5 pierce (total of +8 pierce) with Razor Sharp Shots; in total, they have 7 and 12 pierce, respectively.

Strategy

For its cost, Sharp Shooter is a decent tower for early mid-game, with its crit shots breaking down blimps fairly well and occasionally one-shotting Ceramic Bloons. However, it suffers from low pierce and consistency when not placed on straight lines. Additionally, extra damage can hurt its performance against Ceramics: Sharp Shooter's 6 damage normally pops them fully in three hits, but buffing it with Berserker Brew or adding low-damage towers causes Ceramics to be popped into fast-moving Yellow or Pink clumps.
0-2-4 is generally preferred for higher single-target damage and reliability, but 2-0-4 can be used if other towers are present to cover leaks and the map has plenty of straight lines.
