Moon Landing is an Intermediate map in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 6.0. It takes place on the Moon.

Layout

Moon Landing has 3 craters. Each crater is walled off by a cliff, and Bloons enter the center of each crater before looping out of them. There is a flag near the 3rd crater that shows a satellite orbiting a planet with a banana logo on it. Moon Landing has the 2nd longest track out of all Intermediate maps, only after Quarry's Bloons-only lane.

Strategy

The walls of Moon Landing can make the early-game tricky. There are four simple ways to start: a 0-0-1 into 0-1-1 Beast Handler, a base Alchemist at the top-left of the 1st crater, 3 Dart Monkeys, or a Mortar Monkey. The rest of the game is trivial thanks to Moon Landing's long length, and can be beaten using basic guidelines below.

Due to Moon Landing's loops and walls, some towers excel on this map, and are listed below.

Name Portrait Reasoning
Ultra-Juggernaut The Juggernaut balls can bounce around inside the craters and rehit Bloons they've already hit after each bounce, making them much more effective. Place near the entrance of a crater and set it to First, or near the exit of a crater and set it to Strong.
Artillery Battery, Pop and Awe The craters allow Artillery Battery to sweep through the mid-game with ease and save up to Pop and Awe with almost no help and almost no micro. Pop and Awe, once obtained, deals astronomical damage within the craters, especially when paired with Striker Jones, the two's optimal hero, and Relentless Glue, which gives it stun bonuses. Use Spike Storm to cover Pop and Awe's weakness against the BAD.
Wizard Monkeys With Guided Magic, Wizards can see and attack through the walls of the craters. 3-0-2 Arcane Mastery in the center and 1-2-0 Wall of Fire set in the middle of a crater are both extremely solid options for the early-game. Prince of Darkness is a solid option late-game, as the long length of the track gives ample time for Zombie spawning during the most difficult rounds.
Beast Handlers The craters have small gaps on the inner rim of the crater where dinosaurs can be placed, giving them an advantageous position to attack the circling Bloons from. Likewise the birds of prey have ample time to drag Bloons back down the track and back into the craters for other towers to continue to capitalize on the kill zone.
