Bloons TD 5 Deluxe is an enhanced port of the Flash version of Bloons TD 5 for desktop computers developed by Ninja Kiwi. It introduces the Monkey Engineer and Bloonchipper towers, the Watermelon Spitter, Mad Snowman, and Monkey Farmer Special Agents, new tracks (some remakes of tracks from Bloons TD 4), and new Special Missions.
In November 2014, BTD5 Deluxe was discontinued and replaced with the Steam release of the mobile version.[2] However, the Flash version continued to receive updates for several years after its discontinuation, meaning this version lacks several features and changes that were introduced to the Flash version post-mortem.

Differences from the Flash version
- This version uses save files to track progress instead of Ninja Kiwi accounts.
- This version features the Monkey Engineer, Bloonchipper, Watermelon Spitter, Mad Snowman, and Monkey Farmer, but lacks the Monkey Sub.
- Daily Challenges are replaced with Random Challenges, a collection of 200 Daily Challenges with alterations to support the new towers and agents.
- This version does not have Quests, Fast Track mode, or Co-op mode. All Co-op exclusive tracks (Alpine Lake, Haunted Swamp, Cash Money, and Spider Map) are playable in singleplayer (without requiring another player to disconnect first) and have singleplayer medals and achievements.
- Premium Upgrades are renamed to Deluxe Upgrades and are purchased permanently with Monkey Money instead of NK Coins. They can no longer be purchased temporarily before the game starts.
- Leaderboards are offline and compare scores between save files instead. Additionally, Deluxe Upgrades do not prevent scores from being registered.
- Double Cash Mode is now its own mode instead of a Premium Upgrade. Enabling it prevents the player's scores from being registered on the Leaderboards.
