The Buddy Bloon is an Advanced Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm. It starts with 150 Shield and reduces the Attack Power of the opponent's Monkey with the highest Attack Power to zero when it is played. The Attack Power reduction persists until the Buddy Bloon or the affected Monkey is removed. If multiple Monkeys have the same Attack Power, it prioritizes the first placed Monkey. Most secondary damage effects (e.g. Triple Shot's Splash Damage), but not all, will also deal zero damage. It does not negate indirect damage effects, including On Fire (namely from Burny Stuff Mortar) and Acid Pool (e.g. Alchemist Monkey), as well as Armor Piercing.

Tips

• Freeing the neutralised Monkey via popping the Buddy Bloon is difficult without the support of Powers or other Monkeys. Unless it can surely be popped within 3 turns, focusing damage on it is useless.
• Towers affected by Buddy Bloon can be affected by Bed Time.
• Best used for countering very high damage monkeys, notably Sun Temple and The Big One.
• If the opponent tries to rely on a Defender to damage bloons after their turn, Buddy Bloon can be used to negate it (provided it's the highest AP Monkey), and also waste its ammo.
• There are two ways to reliably neutralize a Buddy Bloon: Overload (destroys 100 or less HP bloon, ignoring Shield) or Energy Overload (destroys shielded bloon). Shields Down! can also be used to break its shield.
