Energy Overload is an Advanced Power card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 2.0. It instantly destroys any target Bloon that has a Shield. It can only be added to Adora decks.
The card artwork portrays Adora using her left hand to destroy a shielded Red Bloon with her energy. In-game, the visual for the destroying projectile is a single sunbeam.

- Energy Overload's effect is extremely specific and hard to activate. The only possible targets without Amelia or Shield Gas Bloon are Bolstered Bloon, Buddy Bloon, Draining Bloon, Extra Shot Bloon, Extractor Bloon, RAPID, Signal Bloon, and Triple Threat Bloon. Due to this very small pool of Bloons that are affected by this, Energy Overload often may stay in your hand for the entire game and provide no value.
- Against Amelia, Bloon Shield can be a way to use this card to remove any Bloon, however smart Amelia players will not let you get big value out of this and may intentionally avoid holding Bloontonium or waste it on weak Bloons.
- Due to Energy Overload costing 4 gold, having an extremely niche use case, being only 1 charge and often bricking in your hand, Energy Overload is one of the worst cards in the game and should actively be avoided.
