Quest (BTD6)

Quests are single-player challenges in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 36.0. Quests typically feature mechanics, conditions, and rules not available in other modes, and feature dialogue from characters such as Patch, Scoop, and Dr. Monkey. They are similar to Special Missions in Bloons TD 5 and Bloons Monkey City.
There are four types of Quests:
- Tales — Longer Quests that are typically broken into multiple parts and feature a lot of dialogue.
- Tutorials — Quests that typically focus on a specific Hero and reward Powers when completed. The only exception is Striken BAD, which is a tutorial for a specific interaction between First Strike Capability and the BAD and has different rewards.
- Challenges — Similar to challenges seen in Daily Challenges and the Challenge Editor.
- Experiments — Challenges with dramatically altered rounds or tower behavior. Some are based on Special Missions in BTD5. They have no dialogue.

- Added a ‘Play Again’ button to the victory screen for quests
- Added a ‘Disable Dialogue’ checkmark for some quests after beating them
- Game hints are now hidden during Quests
- Story Quests now sort to the top of the quest list & completed Story Quests sort to the bottom
- Number of additions/changes to improve existing quests, highlight scores to beat & increase our possibilities for quest creation
- Quests no longer play placement effects for any pre-placed towers
- Quests menu now allows filtering quests by category
- Added Retry last round to some quests
- Pressing "Play Again" on a quest no longer prevents it from saving progress (bug fix)
- Loading a quest save no longer makes unsellable towers sellable (bug fix)
- Retry Last Round in quests can no longer remove pre-placed props
Individual stages of Quests can now be replayed without resetting the entire Quest
Resolved an issue where some quests were tracking pops towards tower unlocks
- Note: MOAB Madness was used to unlock towers quickly due to its high pop count
- Quest games no longer count towards profile stats
