Shoots a short-range volley of sharp tacks in 8 directions.

The Tack Shooter is a Primary tower in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is unlocked at the start of the game, up to all Tier 4 upgrades. Its Tier 5 upgrades are unlocked with a one-off purchase of 1500.

The Tack Shooter fires a volley of 8 tacks at a very short range, with each tack aimed at a fixed 45 degrees apart. Each tack pops one Bloon (allowing for up to eight pops at a time) and cannot pop frozen Bloons or Lead Bloons.

It can be upgraded to attack with fire, blades, or many many more tacks.

Faster Shooting Cost: $150
	Shoots tacks faster.

Even Faster Shooting Cost: $400
	Shoots tacks even faster.

Hot Shots Cost: $700
	Shoots superhot tacks that do extra damage and can pop Lead Bloons.

Ring of Fire Cost: $3,500
	Damages many more bloons with a deadly ring of flame instead of tacks.

Inferno Ring Cost: $35,500
	Deadly inferno of flame roasts bloons into oblivion.

Path 2

Long Range Tacks Cost: $100
	Tacks fly out further than normal.

Super Range Tacks Cost: $225
	Even longer range tacks that can pop more Bloons.

Blade Shooter Cost: $750
	Switches tacks out for sharp blades that can pop up to 2 additional Bloons.

Blade Maelstrom Cost: $3,550
	Activated Ability: Covers the area in a storm of blades.

Super Maelstrom Cost: $15,000
	Even more powerful Maelstrom ability and lasts longer.

Path 3

More Tacks Cost: $100
	Shoots 10 tacks instead of 8, plus increases Ring of Fire damage.

Even More Tacks Cost: $100
	Shoots out 12 tacks per shot and increases Ring of Fire damage further.

Tack Sprayer Cost: $450
	Sprays out 16 tacks per volley.

Overdrive Cost: $3,400
	Shoots incredibly fast.

The Tack Zone Cost: $24,000
	Many, many tacks.
