The Monkey Engineer is a tower in Bloons Monkey City. It is available to unlock after the player reaches City Level 5 in Flash version of Bloons Monkey City, or capturing a Engineer Rescue tile in the multiplatform version of Bloons Monkey City.

The Monkey Engineer has upgrades that allow it to build sentries and traps, dispense foam, or boost other towers. The base Engineer Monkey operates a nail gun that shoots nails, each popping up to three Bloons, but cannot pop Lead Bloons or frozen Bloons. The Engineer cannot detect Camo but has upgrades that let it strip Camo properties.

Bloon Trap Cost: $3,500
	Trap captures bloons until full; can be emptied for cash.

Path 2

9-Inch Nails Cost: $450
	Massive nails pop 8 bloons at once, including frozen bloons

Larger Service Area Cost: $650
	Shoot further and deploy sentries in a larger area.

Sprockets Cost: $550
	Increases sentry fire rate appreciably.

Overclock Cost: $13,500
	Ability: target monkey becomes super powered for 60 seconds.

Path 1

Sentry Gun Cost: $450
	Automatically creates sentry guns and deploys them on the ground nearby. Sentries shoot sharp steel pins at the bloons but only last a short time.

Fast Engineering Cost: $350
	Engineer increases his build speed, producing sentry guns more often.

Cleansing Foam Cost: $750
	The Engineer uses special dispenser to spray down the track with a cleansing foam that removes camo and regen properties. Also pops lead bloons.

Bloon Trap Cost: $3,000
	Creates a powerful bloon trap that destroys all bloons caught in it. Once full, trap will destroy itself after a short time. If emptied manually, gives you extra cash. Only one trap can be active at a time.

9-inch nails Cost: $700
	Engineer's nailgun upgrades to shoot massive 9-inch long nails that can pop 8 bloons at once including frozen bloons

Larger Service Area Cost: $650
	Engineer can shoot farther and deploy sentries in a larger area.

Sprockets Cost: $550
	Adding sprockets to sentries and the nailgun increase their fire rate appreciably.

Overclock Cost: $13,500
	Activated Ability: Overclock - target tower becomes super powered for 60 seconds.
