Encrypted is an Intermediate map in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 21.0. It takes place in a crypt at night.

Layout

Encrypted has 1 entrance, with Bloons diverging into the left and right, entering the space enclosed by the wall, looping around the top, and exiting the enclosed space & the map at the bottom-right and bottom-left, respectively. The wall blocks most towers from reaching the enclosed space, and there is limited placeable space inside the wall, with the central, initially open space with a banana icon only able to fit up towers up to the size of Monkey Villages.

There are 4 rock-covered spaces around the central open space, with the top-left space being for Magic towers, the top-right for Support towers, the bottom-right for Military towers, and the bottom-left for Primary towers. Each space is able to be opened for towers with $250, and can fit towers up to the size of Spike Factories.

Strategy

The central space of Encrypted is limited but has by far the best coverage of the track, so make strategic usage of it, especially in CHIMPS. Do not spam early-game towers in there, as that wastes space that could otherwise be used for strategically important late-game towers. The walls allow projectiles to bounce, making towers such as Ultra-Juggernaut excel. With proper usage of the limited space enclosed by the wall, Encrypted can be beaten with general guidelines listed below.

Listed here are towers that work especially well on Encrypted.

Name Portrait Reasoning
Ultra-Juggernaut   If placed inside the crypt, the walls make the Juggernaut balls bounce around and re-hit bloons. This allows Ultra-Juggernaut to easily clear the mid-game and retain significant cleanup power for the late-game. Pair it with Berserker Brew for the best results.
Prince of Darkness   Prince of Darkness can accumulate graveyard through the wall (regardless of cross-path) and spawn zombies inside the wall to clean-up DDTs and Super Ceramics. It also serves as a de-Camo option if there is no space saved inside the walls for a Monkey Village. Ezili and Corvus are optimal heroes for Prince of Darkness, as the former grants a 50% pierce buff to its Zombies and has the powerful MOAB Hex while the latter further utilizes its graveyard for its mana and erases large amounts of RBE with Ancestral Might and Overload.
Carrier Flagship   Flagship's planes do large amounts of damage to Bloons across the map, including outside the walls. They pop or weaken blimps enough for towers inside, such as Prince of Darkness and Ultra-Juggernaut, to clean them up well. In addition, if placed inside the walls, its preceding upgrades, Destroyer and Aircraft Carrier, perform solidly in the mid-game and transition smoothly to their succeeding upgrade. Flagship's platforms also grant extra space for towers, with towers on the top platform being able to see over the walls.

Easter egg

A secret tower named Myrkul can be summoned on the altar via the following steps:

  1. Place a Super Monkey on the center altar.
  2. Place a tower on each of the four tower category altars and upgrade them to tier 5.
  3. Place a Primary Monkey in front of the bottom left grave, a Military Monkey in front of the bottom right grave, a Magic Monkey in front of the middle left grave, and a Support Monkey in front of the middle right grave.
  4. Upgrade the Super Monkey on the altar to a Sun Temple. It will sacrifice all towers on the tower category altars. After a short pause, the Sun Temple will be sold and all of the altars will collapse, with Myrkul taking their place.
