Hug a Bloon is a Tutorial Quest in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 41.0. It takes place on Lotus Island Medium. The player starts with a level 1 Pat placed in the first water U-bend and cannot buy other towers or sell Pat.
- After round 1, Pat reaches level 2.
- After round 2, Pat reaches level 3, and a 1-0-0 Engineer Monkey and 1-0-0 Alchemist are placed near Pat.
- After round 3, Pat reaches level 9, the player is able to place additional towers, and Pat now properly gains XP.
The additional towers that can be placed are Dart Monkey, Tack Shooter, Sniper Monkey, Monkey Buccaneer, Alchemist, and Engineer Monkey.

Trivia
- Unlike most other quests, the player is able to purchase a level for Pat on round 2 or 3. However, the quest is coded to give Pat just enough experience to give him the level, and since hero leveling takes significantly more XP per level, it won't provide more levels than intended.
