Ice Monkey
Pops and freezes nearby Bloons for a short time. Frozen Bloons are immune to sharp damage. Can't freeze White, Zebra or Lead Bloons.

The Ice Monkey is a Primary tower in Bloons TD Battles 2. Like all Primary Monkeys except Dart Monkey and Tack Shooter, Ice Monkey can be unlocked with a one-off purchase of  150.

The Ice Monkey attacks in a 20-radius circle around it, freezing Bloons up to a pierce cap (40 at base tier) within its short range for 1.5s, as well as damaging them, with an attack cooldown of 2.4s. It has no targeting options, since it will either attack or not attack. By default, it cannot target or affect MOAB-class Bloons. It can be placed on both land and water.

It can be upgraded to cause extra damage to Bloons, freeze more effectively, or use a powerful cryo cannon.

Path 1

Permafrost Cost: $100
	Bloons move slowly even after thawing out.

Cold Snap Cost: $350
	Can freeze and pop Lead and Camo Bloons.

Ice Shards Cost: $2,000
	Razor sharp shards fly out when frozen bloons pop.

Embrittlement Cost: $2,700
	Detects Camo Bloons and all Bloons including MOABs hit become brittle, taking extra damage for a short time and losing Camo and Regrow properties permanently.

Super Brittle Cost: $34,000
	Bloons take huge damage while frozen including MOAB class bloons.

Path 2

Enhanced Freeze Cost: $225
	Attacks faster and freezes for longer.

Deep Freeze Cost: $350
	Freezes through 2 layers of bloon and freezes for even longer.

Arctic Wind Cost: $2,900
	Greatly increases pierce and gains a super cold aura that slows bloons and freezes water nearby.

Snowstorm Cost: $4,000
	Snowstorm Ability: Freezes ALL bloons on screen and increases the attack speed of all Ice Monkeys.

Absolute Zero Cost: $18,000
	Ability freezes all bloons for longer.

Path 3

Larger Radius Cost: $100
	Larger freeze area.

Re-Freeze Cost: $200
	Can re-freeze bloons that are already frozen.

Cryo Cannon Cost: $1,300
	Shoots freezing bombs at bloons over longer range.

Icicles Cost: $2,900
	Frozen bloons grow sharp icicles that can pop bloons that touch them.

Icicle Impale Cost: $32,000
	Shoots huge icicle spikes that do huge damage to MOAB class bloons and freezes them.
