The Blade Trap is a Geraldo's Shop item in Bloons TD 6. It is an on-track projectile which expires and creates an effect similar to the Blade Maelstrom's ability if a visible Bloon touches it. It cannot interact with Camo Bloons unless Geraldo has Camo detection. The effect lasts for 3 seconds, during which blades are fired in two opposite directions; this direction rapidly rotates clockwise. These blades deal 1 Sharp damage, have 200 pierce, and are fired every 0.033 seconds.
At level 15, the Blade Trap is upgraded to be similar to Super Maelstrom's ability, shooting in 4 directions instead of 2. These upgraded blades deal 2 Normal damage and have 500 pierce.
Blade Traps cannot be buffed except for Camo detection. Blade Traps last infinite rounds and are allowed to be preserved in game saves.
