 Trap captures bloons until full; can be emptied for cash.

 Creates a powerful bloon trap that destroys all bloons caught in it. Once full, trap will destroy itself after a short time. If emptied manually, gives you extra cash. Only one trap can be active at a time.

Bloon Trap is the Monkey Engineer's path 1 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD 5. Once purchased, the Engineer deploys a Bloon Trap within its radius, which absorbs up to 250 RBE worth of bloons. When full, the trap flashes blue, magenta, or red, signaling that it can be tapped to earn double the cash the captured bloons would normally give and after 5 seconds of not being collected, it explodes[fn 1] and gives the regular amount of cash from the captured bloons. On The Mobile and Steam version of BTD5, this ignores the decreased cash per pop of later rounds. Only one Bloon Trap can be deployed per Engineer, and the trap does not affect MOAB-class bloons. The Engineer needs Camo detection to trap Camo bloons.
