Striker Jones is a monkey character introduced in Bloons TD 6. He is a military commander (colonel in Bloons Card Storm) who uses his bazooka to pop Bloons.

Gameplay

Bloons TD series

Striker Jones is a Hero who focuses on popping groups of Bloons at a time for good damage. He also has some minor support utility, primarily buffing all Bomb Shooters and Mortar Monkeys' attack speed and pierce and buffing any tower in his range with extra range and pierce.

His Hero Alt in Battles 2, Biker Bones, plays largely similarly, except he focuses more on damage due to lighting clusters of Bloons on fire and letting Monkey Aces and Heli Pilots do the same with his activated abilities, at the cost of these abilities having longer cooldowns, plus his local-ranged buff granting extra pierce to all towers instead of just Bomb Shooters.

Bloons Pop!

Striker Jones is a Hero unlocked by completing level 20. He bounces down onto the Bloons, firing rockets randomly that deal group damage.

Bloons Card Storm

Striker Jones is a Hero introduced in version 4.0. He focuses on a tactical, defensive play style that nonetheless involves lots of damage via his own splash damage or increasing temporary ammo count.

General information

Appearance

Striker Jones has brown fur, tan skin, brown eyes, and a dark brown bushy mustache. He wears a green military commander's uniform and cap with brown shoes. Certain Bloons TD 6 depictions show him with a yellow insignia on his left sleeve, indicating his rank as private. In Bloons TD 6 and Battles 2, his appearance changes as he levels up:

• At level 3, he gains a yellow corporal insignia on his left sleeve.
• At level 10, his bazooka becomes rectangular and gains a scope, he gains a pair of dark green headphones, and his insignia is changed to one signifying a sergeant.
• At level 20, his bazooka's scope gains an infrared lens (though he does not detect Camo bloons at that stage) and his insignia becomes a star and wreath, indicating a rank as command sergeant major.

Personality and traits

Striker Jones is very serious and stern, though he is nonetheless complimentary to his soldiers should they pop a MOAB-Class Bloon. He is very effective at giving orders, having reportedly "[gotten] it down to a fine art".

One of his voice lines and further confirmation from Ninja Kiwi indicates he has a minor but notable obsession with bubble wrap. He also enjoys telling dad jokes of varying quality and baking, with his favorite pastries being pain au chocolat and apple pie.

• He swears the most out of every Hero.
• He likes to hang out with Captain Churchill and play cards and Chess. They go to the shooting range to debate who has the best artillery.
• He, Churchill, and Admiral Brickell live together in a military base.
• His status as Colonel in Bloons Card Storm has been implied to have been the result of a promotion sometime between Bloons TD 6 and Card Storm.
• Besides explosives, his hobbies include grooming his mustache and watching anything involving Parks and Recreation character Ron Swanson, presumably due to his similar mustache.
