The Fertilizer is an excellent farming tool, significantly increasing the cash generation of a farm for a cheap price. In general, it is more effective the better the farm it is applied to - the best being [[Banana Research Facility (BTD6)|Banana Research Facility]] and [[Banana Central (BTD6)|Banana Central]], especially when they are additionally buffed by [[Overclock (BTD6)|Overclock]] and [[Monkey City (BTD6)|Monkey City]]. It is less effective and should not be purchased for farms which are only tier 2 or lower. Additionally, it is a poor choice to apply to [[Monkey Bank (BTD6)|Monkey Banks]] and subsequent upgrades, because their interest and abilities are not improved by the Fertilizer.

Since Geraldo's Fertilizer takes 3 rounds to restock and lasts for 4 rounds on a farm, Geraldo can keep one farm constantly fertilized, or alternate fertilizing two farms, with both farms occasionally being fertilized at the same time.
