Monkey Pirates is the Monkey Buccaneer's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles. It unlocks an Activated Ability that launches a grappling hook at the strongest Bloon on-screen, ignoring ZOMGs, and insta-kills it after a short delay (always 3 seconds in the Flash version). Despite what its description implies, it can target non-MOAB-Class Bloons. In the mobile version, if multiple Bloons have the same strong priority, it targets the first of those Bloons, while in the Flash version, it targets the closest. The player can activate it if there are no Bloons on-screen, but it simply wastes the ability. It has a 60-second cooldown (55 seconds in the Flash version).
