DDT (BTD6): Difference between revisions
Qwertyxp2000 (talk | contribs) still gotta expand tips |
Qwertyxp2000 (talk | contribs) attempted to make this tips more of a "what to use to make it better", not a "list of stuff that works". We want to give sensible strategies that help the player, not make what seems like a trivia club (we got other websites for this). Also, I don't like how people say removal of "properties" when in actual fact the mechanics of the game only remove their immunities (thank goodness, otherwise that's gonna gut extra damage to X stuff) |

The DDT is a type of MOAB-Class Bloon in Bloons TD 6. It first appears on round 90, or round 88 in Alternate Bloons Rounds. It has the properties of a Black Bloon, Lead Bloon, and Camo Bloon. Despite in-game hints for DDTs, DDTs actually move only slightly faster than Ceramic Bloons, not as fast as Pink Bloons. Each DDT has 400 health and contains 4 Camo Regrow Ceramic Bloons, which cannot regrow back into DDTs. If Fortified, it has twice as much health and spawns Fortified Camo Ceramic Bloons. DDTs are immune to all attacks that only target up to BFBs (e.g. Abyssal Warrior's ink, Psi before Level 20), but are vulnerable to those that target "small blimps" (e.g. Monkey Pirates's hook ability). Some types of slowdown are less effective against DDTs (e.g. Maim MOAB's stun), but some may be more effective versus DDTs than ZOMGs (e.g. Super Glue's stuck effect). Like all MOAB-class Bloons, a DDT has four damage phases.
Although DDTs normally have 400 health (800 when Fortified), the health of all MOAB-Class Bloons increases with each round after round 81, so their actual health on round 90 is 480 (1,104 for the Fortified DDTs on round 99).

Tips
| This strategy section is empty or incomplete. See the strategy guidelines for more information on how to write strategy sections. The editor who added this notice elaborates: Examples of towers that are good at handling DDTs without support |
- DDTs are fast and have multiple Bloon properties. Damaging DDTs requires towers to be able to damage Black Bloons, Lead Bloons, and Camo Bloons. Support towers that slow down or debuff DDTs are helpful for dealing with them.
- Towers can temporarily gain the ability to damage Lead with Acidic Mixture Dip or Gwendolin's Heat It Up.
- Towers can gain Camo detection with Radar Scanner or Etienne, or their Camo can be removed with Submerge and Support, Signal Flare, Camo Traps, etc.
- Glue Strike and Glue Storm, Embrittlement, and Super Brittle can temporarily disable Lead immunities, the latter two towers also permanently removing Camo properties. These are all effective for strategies with fast-attacking towers with many projectiles, and all of these options add debuffs that cause Bloons to take extra damage.
- Striker Jones can disable the Black Bloon immunities with his level 5 and 19 passive effects. Use this buff for strategies that heavily involve Bomb Shooters.
- Monkey Intelligence Bureau covers all three properties.
- Some defenses that can handle normal DDTs are ineffective against Fortified DDTs, especially going into round 99 from 98 where abilities will often be on cooldown.
