Clever Green Bloon is a Basic Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 4.0. When played, if the previous card played by the player was a Monkey, it draws a card from the player's deck. This effect does not trigger if the player's hand is full.
Tips
This section was last updated for: version 6.2
- This card is very similar to the White Bloon. It has less health (–20 HP compared to the White, –10 HP to the normal Green) and requires playing a Monkey before it to activate its effect, but is cheaper (by 2 Gold, when not counting the Monkey's cost).
- The requirement to play a Monkey first is less of a downside than it appears because the lower cost makes placing a Monkey first easier.
- Cheap multi-charge Monkeys such as Dart Monkey Twins or Barrel of Monkeys can trigger the effects of all Clever Green charges for cheap.
- Two charges of a Bomb Bloon can generate up to two Bomb Shooters, which are also a cheap way to activate the Clever effect up to two times.
- Like all Clever Bloons, check the card history while playing the game to verify if your last played card was actually a Monkey.
- Not using the Clever function should only be used if certain that the extra 80 Health 1-delay Bloon would cause a major threat to the opponent's side, or if your hand already has too many cards and only want the extra Bloontonium for important thresholds (e.g. Amelia the Amazing's Act of Power, Ezili's Sacrificial Totem), or if building up Zee Jay's Rad Tokens is more important.

Development
During the Version 5.2 playtest, Ninja Kiwi proposed a nerf to Clever Green Bloon by increasing its Gold cost from 2 to 3, which was added to the update unchanged.
