The Rad Bloon is a Large Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 3.0. It is created by Zee Jay's Rad Bloon Time! ability and is not normally part of a deck. It allows Zee Jay's Passive Awesomeness to trigger an extra time per round while in play, though it also triggers the extra use of Passive Awesomeness on itself for the turn it is played on. This effect stacks if multiple Rad Bloons are in play. When played with Rad Bloon Time!, this Bloon's health will be 70 times the number of Rad Tokens removed upon using the ability, though if returned to the hand with Return to Sender, it reverts to having 70 health.

The Rad Bloon is a Large Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 3.0. It is created by Zee Jay's Rad Bloon Time! ability and is not normally part of a deck. It generates one Rad Token at the start of each turn while in play. When played with Rad Bloon Time!, this Bloon's health will be 70 times the number of Rad Tokens removed upon using the ability, though if moved a player's hand with Return to Sender, it reverts to having 70 health.

Although this card displays the icon for Basic Bloons, it is considered a Large Bloon and is affected by cards like Sticky Bomb and Crippling Sniper.

Tips

The editor who added this notice elaborates: Effect changed in v3.2
• If the opponent lacks Sticky Bomb or any Bloon removal card, a buffed Rad Bloon is a significant threat for the opponent, especially in the early-game. Not only it can have massive HP, the extra Passive Awesomeness can be used to boost more bloons.
• Return to Sender removes any HP gains obtained via Zee Jay's major ability. If the opponent removes the Rad Bloon, re-playing the card is still worth the Gold cost when planning ahead for next turns.
• For Zee Jay OTK strategies, Double Trouble combined with two Quick Ready, plus Quincy Action Figure for extra Gold, can be utilised on an extremely high HP Rad Bloon (try 8+ tokens) to outscale even a maximized Obyn Greenfoot with plenty of shield and a Hero Protection.
• Note that Zee Jay lacks any direct defense, so be sure to defend against the opponent's rushes first before preparing for this OTK combo.
• For Zee Jay aggro strategies, the Rad Bloon is often combined with other Bloons as a high-HP threat, alongside the swarms of cheap bloons.

Update history

• Neutral Delay increased ― 2 → 3
• Note: Overall nerf, but the reworked Rad Bloon's On Turn Start partially negates this nerf
• Neutral Effect and description changed ― "Your Hero's Passive Awesomeness ability can trigger an additional time" → "On Turn Start: Gain one Rad Token"
• Nerf Base Health reduced ― 70 → 60
• Nerf Bonus Health per Rad Token reduced ― +70 → +60
• Change No longer displays the icon for Basic Bloons instead of Large Bloons (undocumented) (bug fix)
• Change Now animates when receiving a buff
