Draining Bloon is an Advanced Blooncard in Bloons Card Storm. When played, it removes all Bloontonium from the player's Hero (including the Bloontonium gained from playing this Bloon) and gains 30 Shield per Bloontonium removed.
If enough Bloontonium is accumulated, the Draining Bloon becomes extremely durable. However, your Hero loses all of their Bloontonium, so be sure to have a steady supply of Bloontonium.
The highest Bloontonium hero belongs to Striker Jones, at 20; the Draining Bloon can have up to 800 effective health.
Use Bloontonium-generating Monkeys, such as multiple Mine Supervisors and/or plenty of Bloon cards, to maintain enough Bloontonium.
Return to Sender on an opponent's Draining Bloon will result in the opponent losing lots of Bloontonium without much benefit, if they used this card when they had lots of Bloontonium.
Double Trouble allows the Draining Bloon to keep building up shield with every new copy. With enough shield, the Draining Bloon can only realistically be countered with insta-destroying cards (e.g. Extreme Heat) or Return to Sender.
Double Trouble strategies may also bring Gwendolin's Fireball on friendly Growth Gas Bloon so they can add HP onto Draining Bloons.
