The card artwork depicts an Alchemist staring worriedly at a shattered glass beaker that spilled acid onto the floor. The background is a cobwebbed room with two shelves parallel, each lined with a variety of laboratory containers and books.
Accident At The Lab is similar to Spike Storm! with a few key differences. The Acid Pools carry over between rounds and don’t naturally expire, making Accident useful if Bloons are popped by it, as the Acid Pools will stay on the track. Accident At The Lab as a tradeoff for the lingering effect has less damage in a single turn, as unlike Spike Storm’s potential 60 damage, the max amount Accident At The Lab can deal to one Bloon is 30 per turn, even if you have multiple copies. For 7 Bloontonium, the effect can be good but is often very pricey to afford, even for Bloontonium powers.
Decks that frequently send Bloons may find this card useful, however do keep in mind that other Bloontonium costing cards have stronger effects. Using cards like Mass Detonation, Overload, or Bloon Redirect will often be a better idea, due to their power generally better matching their Bloontonium cost.
