Haunting Night is a Basic Power card in Bloons Card Storm introduced in version 6.0. It steals up to 10 Bloontonium from the opponent. It can be played if the opponent has no Bloontonium, but it only spends the card with no effect.
The card artwork portrays a nighttime event where Bloontonium escapes from the ground near a Bloontonium factory.
Tips
[edit | edit source]This section was last updated for: version 6.2
- At one more Gold than Bloontonium Leak, Haunting Night only partially removes the opponent's Bloontonium in exchange for your Hero gaining the stolen Bloontonium. It does the same role as the former by excelling with Red Bloon Apopalypse in stall decks or as an anti-OTK card, but Haunting Night is a good general use card for gaining Bloontonium, outclassing Bloontonium Leak in many cases.
- Players that leave their Bloontonium sitting around may have their Bloontonium stolen. This card can be used to slow down the opponent's Bloontonium gains, as well as benefit your Hero if they have a high Bloontonium requirement (e.g. Striker Jones).
- Note that computer opponents tend to use up their Bloontonium on active abilities whenever possible. Amelia is an exception, who usually saves up for Grand Disappearance rather than using Act of Power even when she has Powers that can be discounted.
Development
[edit | edit source]This card originally cost 5 Gold, but it was raised to 6 Gold before the update released due to feedback from community playtesters.[1] The original cost was displayed in the update video.[2]
