Banana Research Facility (Banana Research in the console version) is the Banana Farm's path 1 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD 5. Instead of producing bananas, it produces five crates of bananas (10 in the Flash version and Deluxe), each worth $400 ($200 in the Flash version and Deluxe), for a total of $2,000 per round. In the multiplatform version and console version, upgrading a Banana Republic into a Banana Research facility in the middle of a round causes it to produce crates at the same rate as a Banana Republic for the rest of the round.
