Skywardens are monkeys in Bloons TD 6. They wield weapons called Stormbows and specialize in storm-based magic, which they use to fight Bloons.
Gameplay
[edit | edit source]The Skywarden is a Magic tower introduced in version 56.0. It attacks Bloons by shooting arrows with its bow, which has low attack speed and accuracy, but high pierce, and its attack speed increases if it keeps dealing damage, similar to Druid of Wrath. Each of its paths specializes in an elemental affinity: Wind, Thunder and Ice, respectively. Each of its tier 3 upgrades unlocks a path-specific combo effect, applying effects to Bloons depending on the number of times they take damage from Skywardens of that path within a limited timespan.
General information
[edit | edit source]Society and culture
[edit | edit source]Skywardens, as a society, live deep within a mountain forest and in harmony with nature. They are reclusive and rarely interact with outsiders. They are guardians of the mountains and a particular yew tree that "has absorbed the energy of countless storms over centuries".[1]
Skywardens have multiple ancient traditions. They only allow outsiders to know of these after passing multiple trials to earn their respect, though few ever accomplish this. Obyn Greenfoot and Silas earned their respect and learned of their tradition of making Stormbows: after every storm, the elders gather the strongest branches scattered by the yew tree, then the Skywardens carry these to the top of a mountain and craft them into new Stormbows. They journey to Ascent—the place closest to the sky, situated above the clouds on the peak of a mountain—to train and hone their magic powers.[1]
