Captain Churchill Tank
In his armored battle tank, the Captain is a no-nonsense powerhouse on the battlefield. Cost $1,500 XP curve ×1.5 (type 1) Role Defender Difficulty 3/5 Hero Alts Sentai Churchill Introduced Version 1.1

Captain Churchill is a Hero in Bloons TD Battles 2, introduced in version 1.1. He costs  4,000 Monkey Money to unlock.

Captain Churchill's basic attack fires shells from his tank that pierce through Bloons and explode each time they collide with a Bloon, generating up to three explosions at level 1. Each explosion deals 1 damage to up to 15 Bloons, but cannot damage Black Bloons. He is the most expensive Hero in the game and levels up slowly. As he levels up, his range, damage, and attack speed increase, his shells can explode more times per shot, and he gains Camo detection and additional attacks.

• At level 5, he gains a second attack where he uses a machine gun to rapidly deal damage to one Bloon at a time.
• His level 3 ability allows his shells to explode more times per shot and deal more damage to Ceramic Bloons and MOAB-Class Bloons, and allows both his main attack and machine gun to pop all Bloon types, for a short time. Its duration increases as he levels up.
• His level 10 ability targets up to 10 MOAB-Class Bloons from anywhere on the map and bombards them with shells from the sky, dealing heavy damage to each target over a short time or until their outer layers are popped.

Mechanics

Main gun

Captain Churchill's main gun fires shells that pierce through Bloons and generate an explosion on each collision. They cannot collide with Bloons for 0.05 seconds after each collision (to ensure there is some spacing between each explosion). Each shell has 3 pierce at level 1, allowing them to explode up to 3 times, and their pierce cannot be buffed. The shells themselves deal no damage, but the explosions deal 1 explosion-type damage and have 15 pierce.

4	Range increases from 63 units to 66 units.
6	Can now target and hit Camo Bloons with both the shells and explosions.
7	Shell pierce increases from 3 to 4. Explosion damage increases from 1 to 2.
8	Attack cooldown reduces from 0.7 seconds to 0.5 seconds, effectively increasing attack speed by 40%.
9	Shell pierce increases to 5.
11	Explosion pierce increases to 23.
12	Shell pierce increases to 6. Explosion damage increases to 3.
14	Explosion damage increases to 4.
15	Explosions now deal +1 damage to Fortified Bloons.
16	Attack cooldown reduces to 0.3 seconds, effectively increasing attack speed by roughly 66.7%.
18	Explosion damage increases to 5.
19	Shell pierce increases to 7.

Machine gun

At level 5, Churchill gains a machine gun attack that shoots at Bloons within his range. It always targets first, regardless of Churchill's target priority. Its shots collide with the target instantly without any travel time, and it can only hit one Bloon at a time, even with pierce buffs. It deals 1 sharp-type damage every 0.1 seconds.

7	Shells deal more damage and can explode 4 times instead of 3.

10	MOAB Barrage: Launches a barrage of shells at up to 10 MOAB class bloons on screen, dealing massive damage each time.
11	Increased popping power per shell.
12	Shells get additional increased damage and can explode 6 times.
13	Armor Piercing Shells pop an extra layer of Bloon and do extra damage to Ceramic and higher.
14	Machine Gun and Main Gun can pop 1 additional layer per shot.
15	All attacks do extra damage vs Fortified bloons.
16	Increased attack speed.
17	Armor Piercing Shells do even more damage.
18	All shells pop an extra layer of bloon.
19	Shells can explode 7 times.
20	MOAB Barrage shells and main gun do massively increased damage per hit.
