The Engineer Monkey, originally known as the Monkey Engineer, is a monkey in the Bloons TD series. It was introduced as a tower exclusive to Bloons TD 5 Deluxe, and has appeared in other games in the series since. Its abilities include building sentries, placing foam to remove modifications from Bloons, placing down traps on the track to catch Bloons, and Overclocking other towers to make them more effective. Otherwise, it uses a nail gun to pop Bloons.
Gameplay
In Bloons TD 5 Deluxe, Bloons TD 5 (mobile), Bloons TD Battles (mobile), and Bloons Monkey City, the Monkey Engineer appears as a regular tower. Its left path upgrades focus on deploying contraptions, while its right path abilities allow it to buff other towers. Its Specialty Building in BTD5 is the Engineers Workshop, while its main buildings in BMC are the similarly-named Engineer Workshop and Engineering School.
In Bloons TD 6, the Engineer Monkey was added in the version 12.0 update, and was released at launch in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is classified as a Support tower. Its top path upgrades let it create increasingly powerful sentries, its middle path upgrades include Cleansing Foam and Overclock, and its bottom path upgrades involve making Bloon Traps. In BTD6, it has a Paragon called the Master Builder.
