Hotkeys are keys on the keyboard that perform certain actions such as selecting some Tower or activating Abilities. In the Bloons TD series, hotkeys exist in the Flash and desktop versions of Bloons TD 4, Bloons TD 5, Bloons TD Battles, Bloons Monkey City, Bloons TD 6, Bloons Adventure Time TD, and Bloons TD Battles 2.

The player can remap most hotkeys from the settings menu. Mermonkey and Desperado do not have default hotkeys and have to be manually set by the player.
