Scoop's Tall Tale is a Tale Quest in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 38.0. In this quest, a trio of monkeys consisting of a Dart Monkey, an Engineer Monkey, and an Alchemist work together to fend off Bloon attacks with the help of Support Chinooks and limited supplies of cash, while they wait for a Super Monkey to arrive.

Windswept Meadow

Template:BTD6 quest part info Windswept Meadow takes place in Monkey Meadow on Medium Deflation. The map has no significant changes outside of a few traffic cones and fences placed at the exit (this is shared between all maps in this quest). The player is given a pre-placed 0-0-0 Dart Monkey, a 0-0-0 Engineer Monkey, a 0-0-0 Alchemist, and 3 0-4-0 Heli Pilots (which are locked in place and cannot be interacted with, but their abilities may still be used) all located on the right side of the map. The player cannot place any additional Monkeys. Because of the Deflation rules, the player cannot get extra income from any sources aside from the cash granted after beating certain rounds.

Fallen Tree

Template:BTD6 quest part info Fallen Tree takes place in Tree Stump on Medium Deflation. The map now contains additional obstacles, with mushrooms blocking placement on the stump, and more logs on the ground to limit Line of Sight even further. The player gets the same Monkeys from the previous quest.

Quiet Temple

Template:BTD6 quest part info Quiet Temple takes place in Chutes on Medium Deflation. In this part, two of the Chinooks are disabled, but the player receives a 0-4-0 Super Monkey at the end of round 21. This part has 23 rounds, but every even-numbered round has no Bloons, so it really only has 12 rounds; this is to force the Bloons to only spawn from the left path instead of alternating between the left and right entrances.

Dialogue

At the start of the Quest

	Scoop Once upon a time three monkeys from a small unnamed town were called upon by a Super Monkey.
	Scoop The Super Monkey knew that the Bloons were preparing to attack, and, despite his impressive speed, he would not be able to get there in time.
	Scoop The three brave monkeys would need to take the Chinooks and mount a defense at Monkey Meadow. It was their duty.

At the start of Windswept Meadow

	Scoop The Chinooks dropped them off just before the Bloons arrived. They had limited resources but were expecting cash to arrive every few rounds.
	Scoop "We must work as a team," the Engineer Monkey said to her friends. "The Chinooks can move us all to advantageous locations."

After passing round 3

	Scoop The first waves were defeated, but there was a sense of foreboding.
	Scoop "My crossbow isn't gonna cut it," the Dart Monkey said. "Alchemist? I think it's time for your brews."

After passing round 9

	Scoop Soon it became apparent that this wouldn't be a walk in the park. There were still Bloons incoming. With MOABs on the way!
	Scoop The Engineer checked her nail-gun. "Perhaps two will work," she muttered to herself.

After completing Windswept Meadow

	Scoop The first Bloon attack had been thwarted, but the Super Monkey was still racing across the skies. More Bloons were on their way and the three brave monkeys knew their job wasn't finished.
	Scoop An ancient, culturally important spring was in danger and they didn't have much time. They would make their stand at the fallen tree and once again called upon the Chinooks.
	Scoop What will happen next!

At the start of Fallen Tree

	Scoop The Chinooks got our three brave monkeys to the fallen tree just in time. But relief quickly changed to dismay.
	Scoop "The logs," the Engineer Monkey said. "We can barely see the track!"
	Scoop The Dart Monkey and Engineer Monkey looked to the Alchemist, who nodded, knowing it was their time to shine.

After passing round 8

Scoop After rounds of struggling against the Bloons, the lull in intensity was unnerving. The Bloons would soon send the MOABs.

After completing Fallen Tree

	Scoop They had done it! Or so they thought...
	Scoop Deep below ground was a powerful artifact and the Bloons had found a way to get there. A series of chutes that eventually lead to the heart of the temple. The three brave monkeys were needed once more.

At the start of Quiet Temple

	Scoop They managed to find a way below ground, and the flying skills of the Chinooks got them to the chutes where they would make their stand.
	Scoop But just as they got there, the Chinooks' flying skills ran out and two were caught in some vines, crash landing and removing themselves from the fight.
	Scoop The Engineer would have to hold off the first waves of the attack while the one remaining Chinook helped her friends.

After passing round 15

	Scoop The Bloons kept coming, and each wave was stronger than the last. Over the hubbub of battle, the three monkeys heard the Chinook's radio crackle.
	y "I'm nearly there." It was the Super Monkey! "Hold on a little longer!"

After passing round 22

	Scoop "What did I miss?" said the Super Monkey heroically. He was in Tech Terror form!
	Scoop "Maybe you didn't need me after all."

After completing Quiet Temple

Scoop And that's the true story about a Dart Monkey, Alchemist, and Engineer Monkey. There are statues of them around the world, and every Thursday glasses of banana juice are raised in their honor.

Upon losing Windswept Meadow

Scoop And then the Bloons... wait, that's not what happened.

Upon losing Fallen Tree

Scoop And the ancient spring was destroyed... No, that's not right.

Upon losing Quiet Temple

Scoop And Monkey Civilization was razed to the ground. Hold on, something's gone wrong.
