Ice Shards is the Ice Tower's path 2 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD 5. It adds a status effect to Bloons it freezes that soaks through 3 layers. The status effect lasts 0.57 seconds shorter than the freeze. Popping a bloon with the status effect (including the Ice Towers own freeze damage
Bloons TD 5 (mobile)) produces 5 shards of ice that deal 1 damage with 1 pierce, 72° apart. The shards have the piercing damage type, which does not pop Frozen nor Lead bloons (fire on the Flash version which does not pop only Lead bloons).
