Dr. Monkey (sometimes written Dr Monkey or Doctor Monkey) is a monkey scientist and inventor. He has multiple areas of expertise, but he primarily develops weapons and other technology designed for popping Bloons. Since his debut in the Flash version of Bloons Super Monkey 2, he usually appears as a non-playable character, but he is playable in the mobile version and in Bloons Adventure Time TD.

Gameplay

Bloons Supermonkey 2 (mobile)

Doctor Monkey becomes a playable character after completing level 100. He can equip all seven weapon types and he deflects Bloptonite and Boss Bloon projectiles instead of being affected by them.

Bloons Adventure Time TD

Dr Monkey is a Super Rare ally who behaves similarly to an Alchemist with the Acid Pool upgrade in Bloons TD 6 and Bloons TD Battles 2. He places chemicals on the track that do not deal damage, but remove Camo, Regrow, Zombie, and Shield properties from Bloons. His upgrades allow the chemicals to additionally slow Bloons, inflict damage over time, and turn Bloons into gold.

• Dr. Monkey is a supporting character in Bloons Pop!, several Quests in Bloons TD 6, and both versions of Bloons Supermonkey 2.
  • In the Challenge Editor in Bloons TD 6, blanking the name of a challenge changes it to "Dr. Monkey's Creation".
• Dr. Monkey appears in the card art of Try this! in Bloons Card Storm. He is also mentioned in Amelia's Adventure.
• In older versions of Bloons TD Battles 2, Dr. Monkey was mentioned in the description of Cyber Quincy (which was identical to his description in Bloons TD 6). In version 4.3, the description was rewritten and it no longer mentions him.

General information

Appearance

Dr. Monkey is a monkey with patches of white hair on his head and a white moustache. He is usually depicted with brown fur and brown eyes, but in the mobile version of Bloons Supermonkey 2, he has grey fur and blue eyes. He wears a white lab coat and glasses. In Bloons TD 6, Bloons Pop!, and Bloons Card Storm, he has a redesign with more pronounced hair, and his glasses have green-tinted lenses.
