Monkey Pirates is the Monkey Buccaneer's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City. It unlocks the MOAB Takedown ability, which instantly grabs the strongest target up to a BFB, making it untargetable and deals 20,000 damage to the target after a few seconds (always 3 in the Flash version of Bloons Monkey City). In the multiplatform version, if multiple Bloons have the same strong priority, it will target the first of those Bloons, while in the Flash version, it will target the closest. In the Flash version, it does not generate any cash from instakilled Bloons. It has a 60-second cooldown (55 seconds in the Flash version).

Strategy
Monkey Pirates is an easy solution against any single BFB or DDT, particularly by selling and rebuying for more usages. Monkey Knowledge is recommended to make the investment cheaper to do. It falls off in late rounds with masses of blimps.
Navigation
Ability: grapples the nearest MOAB and brings it down.
MOAB Takedown Ability: takes hold of the nearest MOAB-class bloon with a grappling hook and brings it down. ZOMG bloons are immune to this.
