Frag Bombs is the Bomb Shooter's path 1 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City.It causes its bombs to additionally emit eight frag projectiles in a circle from each explosion. Each frag has 1 pierce and deals 1 Piercing-type damage. In the multiplatform version, the frags cannot collide with the same Bloon that the initial bomb collided with (though they can collide with Bloons hit by the explosion). Additionally, this upgrade increases the tower's range by 10 units.

The Bomb Shooter's Monkey Knowledge increases the pierce of frags by 1 at levels 4–8, by 2 at levels 9–13, and by 3 at levels 14–15.

In the multiplatform version of Bloons Monkey City, Frag Bombs is not consistent for the cost, even with MK that increases frag pierce, but the extra range provided remains useful for MOAB Maulers.
