Monkey Village

Hub of Monkey industry, has a number of different benefits to aid all of your Monkeys. Increases range of all monkeys in its radius by 10%.

Introduced	Launch

The Monkey Village is a Support tower in Bloons TD 6. It does not attack, instead providing a buff that increases the range of all towers in its radius by 10%. It can upgrade to provide more buffs, including buffing attack speed, providing Camo detection, and reducing the cost of towers and upgrades. Its first upgrade path focuses on buffing Primary towers, its second path focuses on buffs that allow towers to target and damage Bloons they cannot hit otherwise and buffing towers' attack speed and pierce temporarily with its Activated Ability, and its third path focuses on providing discounts and generating cash.

Upgrades

Path 1

Bigger Radius

Tier 1 — 160 XP to unlock

Increases influence radius of the Village.

This upgrade increases the village's range by 8 distance units, or 20% of its base range.

Jungle Drums

Tier 2 — 1,000 XP to unlock

Increases attack speed of all Monkeys in the radius.

This upgrade unlocks an additional buff for towers within range that reduces attack cooldown by 15% (effectively increasing their attack speed by ~17.6%).

Primary Training

Tier 3 — 2,000 XP to unlock

All Primary Monkeys in radius get more range, pierce and projectile speed.

With this upgrade, the village now provides an additional buff that only applies to Primary towers in its radius, which gives +1 pierce, +10% range (stacks multiplicatively with the normal range buff), and +25% projectile speed.

Primary Mentoring

Tier 4 — 12,000 XP to unlock

All Primary Monkeys in radius get tier 1 upgrades for free, increased range and reduced ability cooldowns.

This upgrade improves the buff given to Primary towers in its range to increase their range by 5 units (additive after the Primary Training's range buffs), provide tier 1 upgrades for free, and decrease ability cooldowns by 15%. It also increases range of the Monkey Village by 7 units, from 48 to 55.

Primary Expertise

Tier 5 — 32,000 XP to unlock

Adds Mega Ballista attack, plus all Primary Monkeys in radius get more popping power, ability cooldowns reduced further and tier 1 and 2 upgrades for free.

This upgrade improves the buff given to Primary towers in its range to increase pierce by +3 instead of +1, provide free tier 2 upgrades as well as tier 1, and reduce ability cooldowns by 25% instead of 15%.

The village also gains a Mega Ballista attack that has infinite range, has 100 pierce, and does 10 Normal-type damage, +270 Ceramic damage, and +270 MOAB-class damage, with an attack cooldown of 2.5 seconds. The attack can naturally detect Camo Bloons. After hitting a target, it can ricochet toward another target within 90 units, with a short delay between ricochets.

Path 2

Grow Blocker

Tier 1 — 150 XP to unlock

Prevents Regrow Bloons from working while in the radius of the Village.

This upgrade causes Regrow Bloons to stop regrowing while within range of the Monkey Village.

Radar Scanner

Tier 2 — 2,500 XP to unlock

Allows all Monkeys in the radius to attack Camo Bloons.

This upgrade grants Camo detection to all towers in its range, allowing their attacks to target and hit Camo Bloons. The Village itself also gains Camo detection, allowing Advanced Intel to target Camo Bloons inside its range.

Monkey Intelligence Bureau

Tier 3 — 3,500 XP to unlock

The Bureau grants special Bloon popping knowledge, allowing nearby Monkeys to pop all Bloon types.

This upgrade unlocks an additional buff applied to towers within range that causes all their projectiles, damage over time, and other sources of damage to deal Normal-type damage, effectively allowing them to ignore all Bloon immunities. This allows some towers that cannot target immune Bloons to become able to target them; for example, this allows Psi to target Lead Bloons and Purple Bloons before levels 6 and 11, respectively (but does not allow them to target Ceramic Bloons before level 7, as that does not depend on Psi's damage type). For the most part, mechanics that apply to projectiles with specific damage types (such as Sharpening Stone, Flint Tips, and Galvanic Conduit's first and second combo effects) ignore this buff; they still apply to projectiles that have the corresponding damage types by default.

Call to Arms

Tier 4 — 20,000 XP to unlock

Call to Arms Ability: Gives all Monkeys +50% attack speed and pops for a short time.

The Monkey Village grants an Activated Ability which when activated buffs all towers on screen with +50% pierce and +50% attack speed for 15 seconds (18 seconds with To ARMS!). This ability has a cooldown of 45 seconds and an initial cooldown of 15 seconds and can be used between rounds.

Homeland Defense

Tier 5 — 30,000 XP to unlock

Ability now increases attack speed and pops by 100% for all Monkeys for 20 seconds.

This upgrade improves the Call to Arms Activated Ability to increase attack speed and pierce by +100% instead of 50%, and last for 20 seconds (23 with To ARMS!) instead of 15. The ability's buff does not stack with Call to Arms; instead, these abilities override each other.

Path 3

Monkey Business

Tier 1 — 250 XP to unlock

Provides 10% discount to all Monkeys and upgrades tier 3 or less purchased in the radius of the Village.

This upgrade reduces the cost of all towers placed and upgrades up to tier 3 purchased within the Monkey Village's range by 10% (12% with Insider Trades). This discount does not apply to Hero levels or Geraldo's Shop items.

Monkey Commerce

Tier 2 — 750 XP to unlock

An additional 5% discount that can stack with up to 2 other Villages with this upgrade.

This upgrade reduces the cost of all towers placed and upgrades up to tier 3 purchased within the Monkey Village's range by 5%, which stacks with Monkey Business and stacks up to three times with other Monkey Commerce towers for a maximum of 25% discount (27% discount with Insider Trades). This discount does not apply to Hero levels or Geraldo's Shop items.

Monkey Town

Tier 3 — 3,000 XP to unlock

All Monkeys within the radius of the Monkey Town get extra cash per Bloon pop.

All towers in range of the village now receive a buff which increases cash per pop by +50% (+60% with Inland Revenue Streams).

Monkey City

Tier 4 — 15,500 XP to unlock

Increases influence radius, cash generation in radius, and gives you a free Dart Monkey every round.

This upgrade grants a buff to most income-producing towers in range which increases income generated from them by +20%. Additionally, it increases the range of the Monkey Village by +10 units, and grants the player a free Dart Monkey every round.

Monkeyopolis

Tier 5 — 28,000 XP to unlock

Absorbs all nearby Banana Farms and their income, freeing up space for new Monkeys.

When purchased, the village sacrifices all tier 4 or lower Banana Farms in range, deleting them from the map. In exchange, Monkeyopolis generates cash depending on the value of the Banana Farms (up to Tier 4) sacrificed. Monkeyopolis cannot be purchased unless there is a Banana Farm in range which can be sacrificed, and uniquely its cost does not depend on the game difficulty; rather, the upgrade always costs $5,000 times the number of Banana Farms in range. The extra cost of the Monkeyopolis upgrade contributes to its sellback, but the sacrifice value of the Farms does not.
