Dungeon Statue portrait

Dungeon Statue is a secret tower introduced in version 35.0. It can only be unlocked on Dark Dungeons by enabling both Bloon Traps using the torches and then clicking the statue, which will prompt the player to pay $30,000 cash to activate it. After paying, the statue will create a projectile in the form a of a blue orb that will chase and damage Bloons across the the map and can be upgraded twice by paying a large amount of cash.

Mechanics

[edit | edit source]

The Orb that the Dungon Statue emits is a single projectile that files above the track with infinite lifespan and pierce that targets First and deals 50 Fire damage to any Bloon it touches until it reaches its intended target, and at that point it will turn around and pursuit its next target 0.1s after the collision. It can re-hit Bloons it has already damaged after 1s and it additionally deals +50 damage to MOAB-Class Bloons and can hit Camo. The Statue can only have one projectile active at any given moment and cannot receive buffs.

The player can click on the Statue to upgrade it by paying some cash with the following effects:

  • Level 2 ($50,000): The Orb color changes to purple, damage is increased to 100 damage and bonus damage to MOAB-Class increased to +150.
  • Level 3 ($100,000): The Orb color changes to pink, damage is increased to 150 damage and bonus damage to MOAB-Class increased to +350.

Also, upon being activated, players will no longer be able to place towers in the ledge below the Statue because its footprint is the same as its visual range; however, towers that were there will remain on the ledge until they are moved or sold. If there are no Bloons on the screen the orb flies in a small circle around the center of the screen (or above the Statue if it hasn't pursued any Bloon yet) and will remain for the rest of the game as there is no way to remove it after being activated.
